Islam is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion teaching, that there is only one God (Allah), and that Muhammad is a messenger of God. It is the world’s second-largest religion with over 1.8 billion followers. It is the fastest growing religion in the world with a simple message of worshiping only one God. Islam teaches that God is merciful, all-powerful, and unique, and has guided mankind through prophets, revealed scriptures and natural signs.
Islamic Association of Treasure Coast (IATC) serves the muslims of Treasure Coast area which includes St. Lucie County, Martin County, Indian River County and muslims of Okeechobee county. The Islamic Association of Treasure Coast (IATC) is diverse in its membership with some local Muslims having roots from East Asian countries, Arab countries, some African American with few converts from a multitude of backgrounds. The mosque is open for the five daily prayers and holds services on Fridays.
We look to coordinate recreational activities underpinned by Islamic principles and spirituality with the intention of nurturing moral vibrancy, God consciousness, selflessness, sacrifice and other prophetic characteristics. We also provide mentorship programming, tutoring, counseling, interfaith dialogue and dawah.
